Max Hadfield will turn 100 years old on May 2, 2024. He was born in Grouse Creek, Utah on May 2, 1924, the eighth of ten children born to William and Grace Hadfield.
After High School graduation, he served in the US Air Force during World War II and later served an LDS Mission to Texas. Upon returning to Logan, he married Marie Nielsen in the Logan, Utah Temple. They have been married for 72 years.
After being involved with several business ventures early on, he and his wife started Trend Interiors in 1959, which continues today. In 1991 they served a mission together in the LDS Canada Vancouver Mission.
They are the parents of 7 children: Randy (Kathryn), Brent (Sheri), Kelly (deceased) (Lucille), Jan (Tracy Reese), Mark (Liz), Linda (Doug Garrett) and Kent. Their posterity includes 27 grandchildren and 82 great-grandchildren along with one great-great-grandchild.
A birthday open house is being held in his honor Saturday, May 4th, from 1 — 3 p.m. at the church at 465 N 300 E in Providence. All friends and family are invited and welcome to attend this celebration.
